There's no single answer to “which ESCO bucket teeth should I order?” If someone gives you one without asking about your machine, your workload, or your deadline—talk to someone else.

Here's how that scene plays out: a buyer wins four used excavators at auction, arranges transport, and checks the buckets after delivery. Two have worn teeth. One has a cracked adapter. One cutting edge is bent. The crew that was supposed to start Monday is now waiting on parts.

Fleet buyers who do this well work backward. They build a wear parts list before the machines arrive—ideally before they bid.

  • Your name is on a purchase order that supplies someone else? Scenario Three. Stock what turns fast, and budget for rush freight.

The scenarios overlap. A compact excavator owner who just added a second used machine is halfway between One and Two. A dealer running a private label line is juggling all three. The point isn't to pick a clean label. It's to know which decision deserves your attention first. And the one with the hardest deadline comes first. Always.

Start with the spec. Then the timing. The price takes care of itself.
