ESCO Wear-Parts Engineering, Verified on the Hardness Bench

Rockwell tip-face checks · pin-pattern gauges · abrasive wear tracks · undercarriage fatigue fixtures — every catalog claim must reproduce in the lab before it ships to a quarry pad.

We will not publish a tip hardness or pin Ø we cannot reproduce on our own benches. — Chief Metallurgist, ESCO

From 2001 Foundry Floor to 62-Country Parts Network

ESCO started as a medium-scale wear-parts foundry focused on excavator bucket teeth and cutting edges. Operating weight classes from compact 8-ton machines to 90-ton mining excavators now sit on the same pin-pattern library. Production spans 95,000 m² of melting, heat treat, and CNC finishing — enough floor to keep high-velocity SKUs in regional hubs instead of single-plant bottlenecks.

Buyers care about breakout force and digging depth because those loads destroy soft tips. Our metallurgy office publishes tip-face HRC ranges alongside adapter ear toughness so fleets stop trading tip life for unexpected adapter cracks. ISO 9001 lot cards and CE-aligned documentation travel with export crates; ISO 14001 covers quench oil and shot-blast waste streams on the foundry site.

Today 850 employees stage approximately 120,000 wear tips and companion undercarriage parts each year. Revenue near $180M funds gauge recalibration, wear-track media, and the 22-hub stocking model that keeps Ex-Works dispatch near 48 hours on common twin-pin and double-bevel SKUs.
